BIO
Isabelle is a large format landscape photographer navigating her way through Northern California landscape. Her work is deeply inspired by her childhood and growing up in the Bay Area. She grew up camping in the Santa Cruz mountains and this location specifically is what led her to photography. Her work navigates human connections and emotions to nature that are reflected in forests.
She currently lives and works in San Francisco, where receiving her BFA in Photography at the San Francisco Art Institute. She is the lead curator at the Paul Sack Gallery and Still Lights Gallery on SFAI’s Chestnut campus. Her work is permanently installed in the Photography Lab. She works part time at Smith Andersen North deepening her skills as a picture framer.
